Parents can choose whether to pay for their child’s school meal or provide them with their own packed lunch. Our School Meals are provided by Surrey Commercial Services and currently we serve approximately one third of the children with a meal.
The price of a school meal will be £2.40 per day, £12.00 per week, as of September 2020. School meals can be paid for by cash, cheque or on-line by credit or debit card if you prefer, with instant confirmation being provided to you and the school via Wisepay, a secure website. Details of your Wisepay login will be issued to you within the first two weeks of term.
If your child has a special diet and would like to have school meals, please collect a Special Diet Request Form from the School Office. Our School Kitchen is nut free but we still need to know if your child has any food allergies (including nuts), preferences (such as vegetarian) or requires a special diet for religious reasons. The School Office (on behalf of Surrey County Council) maintains a Special Diet Register for the kitchen, along with a photograph of each child which enables the kitchen staff to clearly identify each child. Surrey County Council will require two weeks’ notice in order to process your Special Diet Form. In the meantime please provide a packed lunch for your child.
Free school meals
If you wish to claim Free school meals please ask at the school office for a Free School Meal Form. We will then verify your claim during the first week of term and confirm if you are entitled to claim these meals for your child.
Changing to or from packed lunches
We require two weeks’ notice of any change from school meals to packed lunches or vice versa.
If you have any further questions about school meals, special diets etc. please contact Natalie Wren in the school office, or log on to www.myschoollunch.co.uk/surrey
